Debugger has stopped on a link that does not belong to the project
Hi,
When I try to run my solution, I keep getting error message : "Debugger has stopped on a link that does not belong to the project". I tried deleting all breakpoints, cleaning and running the solution again. However, that did not help. Any thoughts on how this can be done.

Debug >> DeleteAllBreakPoints is the basic step and I knew it :)
Unloading and loading the project helped resolve my issue. Thanks everyone for your prompt response !

This happens when you have a breakpoint inside a Try..Catch. It sounds like your attempts to clean up all references to these breakpoints failed. Try unloading your solution and then reloading it.

It's a common issue :)
Just remove all the break points, You can do that by going to debug>> delete all break point for each .os file
Or just create a different copy if it is in SVN
Or once the debugger has stopped at some place on the button panel you would see Breakpoints panel, just select and delete all break points
Or clear the Bin >> Debug\release or Clear Obj >> debug\Release
