CSHC v7.1.3 to v7.31 update
Hello,
We are trying to update Customer service v713 to V731. In PDN i dont see any update guide for Customer service similar to Pega update. What is the process for the CSHC update ? Is there any doc available ? .Also When doing update , Should we do PEGA update using IUA/Commandline first and then CSHC next on top of pega version updated application ?
I created an SR with same question, but the support team is saying its out of their scope. I am not sure what I have to do.Anyone who has done update and who knows what to do please help us on this

In general platform update should be done first before updating framework.

Below pdn link is CSHC (CRM for HC) 7.31 upgrade guide.

Check its prerequisites on page #4. It tells you what else needs to be upgraded before upgrading CSHC.
For example, you need to upgrade Pega platform to Pega 7.3.1, Pega Foundation for HC 7.31, CS 7.31 and so on.

Pega Framework Upgrade is different from Pega Platform Update/Upgrade.
From CSHC 7.13 to CSHC 7.31, you need to follow the CSHC (CRM for HC) 7.31 upgrade guide. There is no Update guide for CSHC framework.
The 2nd step of prerequisites in the "CSHC (CRM for HC) 7.31 upgrade guide" is to update your platform to Pega 7.3.1. What is your current Pega platform version? Pega 7.1.8 or Pega 7.1.9?
When you move your Pega platform from Pega 7.1.x to Pega 7.3.1, you should be doing an update.
Pega Platform upgrade is done when you are moving the application from Pega 5.x/6.x to Pega 7.x.
