Creating workbaskets and workgroups on the fly
Hi All,
We have a requirements that needs us to conditionally create workbasket and workgroup on a need basis.
This has to be done automatically when a user logs in. A user will essentially have access to only one or a few workbaskets.
The requirements is such that, the number of workbaskets/workgroups can go into hunderds or thousands in future. Do you see any impact because of this volume?
Please let me know your thoughts.

Hello,
That sounds like a strange design but I don't see why this would be an issue. As long as you are not multiplying AccessGroups and Rulesets I guess you should be fine.

Hi Marc,
The requirement was to allow a certain set of users to work on the case that are created for their company. The case can be worked upon by anyone among this set of users. And they can ofcourse view and work only on the cases meant for their company. Please let me know if you think of a better way to address this situation.

Just a thought, possible to just use one Workbasket but differentiate the company from Workgroups. Each company can be a workgroup. Users are then assigned these WG.
All the visibility in WB or search of cases can be controlled based on the WG as each case will be assigned a WG during creation.
This way you dont have to create multiple WB's. Just the WG's would do.
