Configure Queue Processor

Hello,

We have configured QueueProcessor instead of a standard agent. Can we know how to control to run the QueueProcessor on specific background nodes instead of all the background nodes. We want the queueprocessor to run on only 2 of the 3 background nodes as a rest call is involved with these queue entries and the target system supports only 2 requests at a time.

Can you classify 2 of the 3 "background" nodes to also be of a "custom" node type and configure your queue processor to run on "custom" node type? You can configure one node to be of multiple node types using the -DNodeType JVM argument with comma separated list of node types.

Thanks for your response. We currently have 2 applications in Production which are using QueueProcessor. So I'm not sure if it would be ideal to update node classification as it might impact other queue processor throughput.
