CMIS Connector to OpenText - Which OpenText Products? Why Experimental for some?

We are evaluating CMIS integration in order to store and retrieve attachments from Pega. I would like to understand which OpenText products are deemed as Pega supported CMIS providers.

In 7.2, I see the following list of CMIS providers. EMC Documentum is now OpenText Documentum. And I also noticed “experimental” for OpenText in the list.

I would like to understand the following:

  • What does it really mean by “experimental” ?
  • What is the actual OpenText product indicated as “OpenText” in the provider list?

I think the list of providers in 7.4 is the same as 7.2. And in 8.1, Documentum is no longer there, and the help files indicated that the other option should be used.
