Can Pega connect OpenText xECM CMIS Provider

We are trying to source the case attachments from OpenText xECM and write case attachments to OpenText xECM. In CMIS connector, I see OpenText is mentioned as experimental. Can anybody confirm if Pega completely supports OOTB way(change the application rule) to connect to OpenText.

Thanks for your reply, Marissa. I understood from the article provided that Pega did not test 100% for the CMIS providers which are marked as experimental in the CMIS connector rule. However, one of my questions is still unanswered. 

Can Pega successfully connect to OpenText xECM using CMIS connector referenced in Application rule to write and source case attachments from OpenText xECM. If yes, are there any additional configurations that are needed apart from updating application rule and CMIS connector rule?
