how to change the case status from one case type to anothere case type in pega.

Hi @nagar16730416: Your Question is more generic.
If you are looking on how to set case status for work objects, please refer https://academy.pega.com/topic/case-status/v3
If you are looking on setting different status based on case types, the above still holds good. Each case type will have its own case design where you can configure the status.
You can also use utility UpdateStatus to do the same from Flow rule / Activity.
If this doesn't help, please help to share more details on what is expected.

@ArulDevan Thanks for your replay.
let me explain my requirement . i have two case type A and B . when i create A-case the status should be pending.
in B-case i am giving two values to submitt when i submitt two values in B-case. A-case should change the status to approvel.

@NagarajaN M If B is a child of A then you can make use of Wait shape with case dependency. You can change the status of B once you submit by providing the required values and make use of this status in the wait shape.

@NagarajaN M if both cases are independent and case B has case A key or pyID, you can call a utility on submission of case B to update case A status.
