Case status changing from resolved status

Hi

I am required to change a case status from resolved to pending status.

Is it possible to change the status?

May I have any advice?

Yes, we can change the status from Resolved either but doing a property set for pyStatusWork or calling the OOTB activity "UpdateStatus".

If your case is in Resolved-Completed status then why are you trying to change the status? if you want make it Pending status first it should go to reopen status.

Technically you might use the Udpatestatus or any utility to change but it is not BPM practice.

  Is your requirement to just change the status or reopen the case? I assume you want to reopen the case.

from resolved to reopen is also okay, I am required to implement the status from resolved to any status which user can edit the case again for...

If the requirement is to Reopen the case and edit the data, you can use the "Re-open Work item" OOTB action. Please find the below screenshot for more details.
