Hi,
Is this an upgraded environment or a fresh installation?
I am able to see the OOTB APIs even when I remove the PegaAPI role.
Could you please provide the screenshot of your access group?
Thanks,

See my latest post for attachments but this seems to be an upgrade issue. This was a fresh 8.1 environment upgraded to 8.2

Hi,
The PegaRULES: PegaAPI role is required to prevent the HTTP- 404 or 403 error while testing the APIs using 'Try it out' button.
Have you tried with default access group 'PRPC: Administrators' using admin credentials?
Thank you,

Hi,
I tried this with by test application "Test1" but still no success. See screenshots.

Hi,
If you are testing it with your own application, then the API role will be specific to that application. If you are logging in with Administrator login, thenn the role will be PegaRULES:PegaAPI. Please refer the attachments.

Hi,
As you rightly indicated this seems to be an upgrade issue. This was a fresh 8.1 install which was upgraded to 8.2. I have checked on a fresh 8.3 environment and I could see the APIs which just the Author Access Group containing:
Test1:Administrator
PegaRULES:SecurityAdministrator
Test1:PegaAPI
I tried using the Author access group on the upgraded 8.2 environment environment without modifying but this did not work so still stuck as to how to fix this on our upgraded 8.2 environment.
