Can I move a database table from one database to another database
We are using Pega 8.1.4 in the cloud. There are 3 databases present: PegaRules, PegaDATA and ExternalMKTData. While creating new data types the database table has been created in the wrong database. In the past we deleted the data type, raised an SR to drop the table and then created the data type and data table again.
Is there a way to move a database table from one database to another without deleting the data types?

Hi,
Moving database table from one database to another without deleting data type is not a good approach as during runtime datatype will search in the first database where it doesn't find table.
Hence for correct mapping, you should recreate datatype after moving table from one DB to other.

From the description, I understand that, you are looking for a way to move tables without raising SR.
I think its not possible without involvement of DBA or without direct access to Database as per your use case.

You can do that but yes not from Pega.
Get a DBA involved and once done from his end you can make necessary changes on Pega end.
