Can I have case type different in 2 rule set or anything?
Can I have case type (mainly i mean stages,flows, steps) in 2 version? Like rules in 2 different rulesets?
I have finished a case type with a serious of rulesets. then i am trying to add sm optional functions in this case type. So i want to have origional case type(stages,flows, steps) kept, while change sm steps,flows,stages, ----maybe it means have a new one in V2.
Is there any solution? Can I save as ? what is the appropriate class to apply to?

I found it ok to create a child case type(created one) under the original one. while it is not what i hoped. i wish i could have a case type same as the original one and position it in parallel with the original one.

HI PiaopiaoP,
A case type represents work in your application that follows a life cycle, or path, to completion. It is not a rule. So it cannot have different versions.
You can create child cases under parent case. If creating a same child case type can meet your requirement, you are welcome to do so.

However I found that when I make change in the child case type, the parent case type also changes the same way!
So i failed creating V2...

Ok. Then Pega does not support case type in different version. You can do SaveAs but you have to give a different name.
