ByPass Authentication checkbox in Standard agent processing doesn't work.

Hello Pega Team,

Even after 'Bypass activity authentication' checkbox selected in the standard agent, and the main activity modified with 'Requires Authentication' unchecked, subsequent activity calls are failing where 'Requires Authentication' is checked. Some of those activities are Pega OOTB final activities like Work-.pzLaunchInternalFlows

which has 'Requires Authentication' checked + couple of other activities in the concerned application which are in locked ruleset versions with 'Requires Authentication' checked. The development environment is Pega v7.2.2

The agent processing is failing because of this even after adhering to guidelines recommended by Pega. Please advise ASAP.

Yes, it has. In standard agents however acess group details are extracted from queued entry which has every privelege to run the rules.

Can you please bypass activity authentication in the Agent Schedule of the corresponding Agent.

Hi, If you check the my reply in the earlier comments I already have done necessary changes as part standard agent setup including bypass activity authentication in the Agent Schedule.

I could make it work by following the steps here even though it doesnt make sense. It surely is Pega product issue.

This issue persists in pega 7.3.1.  Checking the Bypass acitivity authentication checkbox on the Data-Agent-Queue (Agent schedule) record of the agent helpt.
It was not in sync with the setting on the agent rule.
