BIX - Extract rule to create a .csv
Hi,
I have a requirement to send the audit details to an external warehouse.I created an extract rule with properties in the audit class(mapped to audit table).
I wanted to have an agent to run this on a scheduled basis and hence was hoping to use pxExtractData as agent activity.But looks like it needs a workpage as parameter.
Should i understand that extarct rule only applies to extarcting data from work table?
P.S: I have already implemented extracting data from work tables as 'XML ' and it works perfectly.

Pega 7.1.9 .I do not find pxExtractDataWithArgs in the application.I only see pxExtractData which needs workpage as a mandatory parameter.

pxExtractDataWithArgs should be present in Pega-BIX:07-10-17 version. Are you using the version of BIX which is part of "additional products" of the distribution image of Pega 7.1.9? If yes, then the highest version of Pega-BIX should be 07-10-19.

Then you using BIX from Pega 7.1.5 and not from Pega 7.1.9. Please check the additional products folder of the Pega 7.1.9 distribution image to get the version of BIX compatible with Pega 7.1.9. Import the rules and you should be able to find pxExtractDataWithArgs activity.

OKay ,As i do not have that version could you please tell me what if it has Workpage as a mandatory parameter please?Becasue i am not going to extarct data from workpage

pxExtractDataWithArgs activity does not need pyWorkPage.
Did you get a change to look into the "additional products" directory of your 7.1.9 Pega platform distribution image? It should contain the BIX package which is relevant for 7.1.9 and that once imported should get you pxExtractDataWithArgs activity.
