BIX 7.1.9 comaptibilty with Pega 7.1.8
Below are questions from the client wanting to move to BIX 7.1.9
We are currently on Pega-BIX:07-10-18 (I assume BIX 7.1.8) as it came with the core Pega 7.1.8 upgrade. I had a conversation with our MIS team regarding using some of the more recommended functionalities from bix based on the information I found in BIX 7.1.9 document, however it was different than the guide they had, so the assumption is that there are some useful enhancements in 7.1.9.
Can you find out the following:
· What are the changes added to 7.1.9 (if more than just updated documentation)

· Is there a separate BIX 7.1.9 package available, and if so, does it need to be running on Pega 7.1.9 or can be added to our version without issues.

Hi Simmr,
You can check the release notes for the changes : https://docs-previous.pega.com/bix-71-release-notes however as per the release it mentions BIX 7.1.9 included non-customer facing enhancements could be related to performance etc.
Also as said by Nick it is highly recommended and the right way to use respective bix versions with their prpc versions so that we dont have some things not functioning as desired.

I'm not aware of a document or information I can point you to about changes from BIX 7.1.8 to 7.1.9, however, I can say that running BIX 7.1.9 on Pega 7.1.8 is not supported. The only supported version of BIX is the one that comes with your version of Pega. If you want to use BIX 7.1.9, you will have to update to Pega 7.1.9 as well. Be sure to get both the Update media to update Pega and the full media (which will come with BIX).
