AI feature in Intelligent Virtual Assistant -Alexa Channel
Hi,
I just want to get clarified about the AI feature in Intelligent Virtual Assistant -Alexa Channel.
1.What is the AI feature here? as we are providing a set of responses to Alexa Skill to answer the questions. Is any algorithm works here to process the request and respond based on that?
2. In what format the response can be sent from Pega to Alexa ?

Hi Henry,
We provide a framework that allows you to author responses and conversations in your Pega application that integrate with Alexa or other channels. In the case of Alexa, the language processing is configured and executed on their end. We provide an easy way to map that data into a case, generate dynamic responses and drive the conversation.
Responses can be created using question shapes or paragraph rules and can be configured directly from your case or channel. The http response sent back to the Alexa skill is JSON.

1. How to get access/create account in Amazon Web portal to integrate with Alexa Channel?
2. How to integrate Pega with Alexa if the Alexa component is unavailable in Pega? In case of downloading the component from Pega Exchange does it comes along with the product or requires any separate licence?

1) You'll need to create an Amazon Developer account here:
https://developer.amazon.com/alexa
2) There is an additional IVA license that is required if you want to use this channel.

1. The cost for the IVA licence or the source where can I check the cost that is required to use Alexa channel.
