After upgrading to Pega 8.5 from 7.3 getting issue with Resource Path in Connect Rest Rule
Hi Team,
In Connect Rest rule, Resource Path field was configured with =D_ABC(XYZ).EndPointUrl in Pega 7.3. Recently upgraded to Pega 8.5 and same setting is works fine. But when I save-as this rule, I need to either choose 1.Provide URL or 2. Use Application Setting options. Because of this, I am unable to use my existing data page reference =D_ABC(XYZ).EndPointUrl
I don't want to hardcode URL using 1st option Provide URL and don't want to use 2nd option Application Settings(Rule System Settings). Kindly suggest, if I can still use my data page reference.

As a best practice, use an application setting to control the values of the URL and the authentication profile of a REST connector. Application settings allow explicit configuration that takes into account the production levels, and if required, you can use GRS as part of the application setting configuration.
