Advice on Upgrading from Pega 7.2.1 to 8.2

I have Pega running on premise. Is there any documentation to upgrade the platform from v7.2.1 to 8.2? I found documentation on patching (https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/documents/patching-on-premises-deployments), but since I am upgrading a major version, I am not sure whether that documentation is applicable.

Greatly appreciated if anyone can clarify or send me appropriate URL.

Hi Benjamin,

You can navigate to Knowledge > Pega Platform > Deployment Guides > Choose Product version, Application Server and Database to see the respective Installation/Upgrade guide.
