Activating Propensity in Next-Best-Action Designer

Hi team

Business user is requesting to activate "Propensity" in Next-Best-Action Designed. Does activation requires export/import package in Production?

Does it can cause performance issues? Anyway we have done performance Testing in non production and everything looks good. 

We are planning to activate it in next days. Thanks in advance
