create new app
where to create a new app, in my pega app studio i have an auto loan application that texists by default, i want to remove it and create a new app

You can not create a new app in App Studio, you have to create it in Dev Studio, and then switch to App Studio to create a case type.
Here are the steps:
- In Dev Studio, in the App Menu, select the New App option. - Select the app type and UI, and enter the app name. - Under the app name, clic on the Advanced Config link to enter or create org, div, and unit. - Unless you have other instructions from your lsa, choose the implementation structure, and do not generate the division layer. - Confirm the app name, and better keep the default class group (work pool). - Clic on Save and Create App buttons. - Clic on 'Go to app' button to go to the new app in App Studio, or on Done link to stay in your current app in Dev studio (you can switch later).
After you have created an app in Dev Studio, do not forget to switch to App Studio to create a case type. Although you can create it in Dev Studio (and sometimes you have to switch to Dev Studio), it is better to create a case type in App Studio.

If you already have an app with the same name, it is better to create a new app with another name instead of delete the old app, as it is not a best practice to delete rules in Pega. Moreover the old app has been created by someone for a specific purpose, so better contact its author before to delete it. But if you really need to delete an app, you have to delete its rulesets in Dev Studio (and its access groups, work groups, and work queues).
