New Portal Creation issue in Cosmos based app in 8.4.1

Hello All,

Is there way we can create new portal similar to OOTB User Portal in Cosmos Theme based application. I tried creating using channels from app studio. New portal gets created, but is distorted (see attachment)

 

Yeah, I read that it is recommended to use OOTB Portal (User Portal). But Still curious to know the option provided to create new channel and failure to create working portal even from App Studio.

As a workaround you can switch to Dev Studio and open newly created harness and change the Navigation section to "PortalNavigation". Be sure that you will not be editing the portal later in App studio, otherwise the new changes will overwrite your change in Dev studio and portal will be distorted again.
