Preview Attachments (all file types) post upload, on click
We have a requirement to preview files after attaching it in the work item.
As of now, on click - the files are directly downloading.
Can we implement any OOTB solution to achieve this?

Hi @SoumiBiswas,
Please try to change the decision table pyBrowserAttachmentTypeTable and see if it works. This decision table is the extension point for enable/disable preview for a particular attachment type.

Thanks for your response. But this decision table is not getting called at runtime.
Could you please suggest how to implement this?
In tracer, we observed activity- GetAttachmentReference is getting called through control AttachmentFeedDescription(Customized)
Also, InlinePreview Param is not getting passed to GetAttachmentReference activity.
Appreciate your help on this.

Probably because you have customized AttachmentFeedDescription control you do not find the decision table being called in the tracer. Check if you have the function pxInlinePreviewCandidate being called from within the control or not. This function in turn calls another function pxInlinePreviewSupportedByBrowser, which in turn calls the decision table - pyBrowserAttachmentTypeTable.
This will make sure your parameter InlinePreview is set.

Did this ever get resolved? I'm trying to impliment similar functionality. Specifically, I'm just trying to get docx documents working. I've updated the decision table mentioned below (pyBrowserAttachmentTypeTable). However this has no impact on the functionality. However If I change the pdf one to return false - then this does download automatically.
Maybe its only those in the original decision table that work?

@MattW Hi Matt,
I had raised SR for similar query and the product team confirmed .docx file wont be rendered. It is not supported by Pega.
