Can a completed case have workstatus without starting as Resolved-
I have requirement where user can mark inflight cases with status as Withdrawn and those cases should be closed for future.
Can we mark the closed case status without Resolved- prefix?

@RamKS157 Reopening of the case can be done even though after the case is resolved with status as Resolved-Withdrawn. Many things will happen in the background when the case is updated with Resolved- status. Apart from Resolved- status for any other statuses, Pega will update only the work object statuses. Any other background things like the closing or deletion of open assignments, decrementing the child counts, etc will not happen by default.
Comming to field values, all the work statuses are associated with Field values(pyStatusWork). Field values that we create for this property will appear in the drop-down of Work status either while configuring at the stage level or in the process end shape.
To explicitly update a case using any OOTB activity, the UpdateStatus activity can be used. The status that the case should be updated with can be passed as input and this can be any property or parameter etc.

There is a Resolved-Withdrawn. I think in theory you could have a closed case without Resolved- prefix but in reality there is a lot of configuration based on this "Resolved-" text and also a lot of reports based on that.
I wouldn't recommend such approach.
