Show Recent search Items

I have a requirement that "From current and previous sessions, show last 3 search items that were searched".

Do we have any OOTB option to show the recently searched items?

I don't think there is such an option to keep a track of the last (3) search results or more. Under a condition that you are going to open the search result in a portal, it gets added to System-User-Recents instances and you may use requestor level datapages like Declare_pzRecentsCache to get the top 3 and so on.
