After Upgrading Pega from 7.1.9 to 8.2 most of the Icons/Images missing . Buttons not getting displayed as expected Like Edit in Excel, print , open, edit etc

Is this happening in any specific browser or all browser?
Could you please check the below path any deprecated rules if being used in the sections:
configure > User Interface > HTML5 Application Readiness.
Also if you open the section the section do you see the message stating that the button needs to be updated?

From 7.4, unused rules and binary rules have been removed. You can find them in PegaLegacyRules:01-01-01 ruleset.
You can refer the below link to import legacy ruleset from Resource Kit.

Hopefully you would be able to see the icons/images after adding the PegaLegacyRules:01-01-01 ruleset to your application stack.
