Autocomplete doesn't work in higher version of Chrome
Hi All,
We use Pega 7.2.2 and in one of the screens we have autocomplete. This autocomplete upon entering couple of characters the names matching in the attachments are displayed. For this we are calling a report definition to display the results. This code exists in production and was working perfectly fine for the last 8 -10 months. When this was developed and deployed we had Chrome 41.xx version but recently few users have updated their Chrome version to 65, 66 or 70 and we observe that in those updated browsers the autocomplete doesn't fetch any results. Any pointers will be helpful.

On Page #30, it clearly mentions that Google Chrome version 42 and 45.
If your users have updated their Chrome version to 65, 66 or 70, these are officially supported by Pega.

Hi Satya,
Could you get a fiddler trace for working and non-working scenario (respectively for Chrome v41.xx and the newest version - I have 70.0.3538.67 for 64-bits)? After that, please find if there are some differences between both outputs.
If you will find some JS error, please raise SR (Support Request).

Version 42.0 of the Google Chrome browser blocks Silverlight (an NPAPI plugin) by default. Hi,
Is the issue is only with chrome or for all the browsers?
If not then first need to check with the fiddler if we are getting the correct results or not.
(You can aatach the fiddler log . Just for the autocomplete calls only.)

All the users are supposed to use Chrome only. It is behaving weirdly. I have got Chrome 41.x version which is working perfectly fine and the same with my other team members as well. But for users who have got same or different Chrome version it doesn't work. There might be few users where it works as they don't complain we never come to know.
