Broken Queue remove all - large number of enqueued items

We have a broken queue with 1.3 million records It also always shows that number in SMA but not always in designer studio systems operations queue management. First question is remove all an expensive operation? i.e. does it need to be run off hours with this many records? Second why would it always show in SMA but not always in the queue management landing page? Thanks!

Hello,

Do you want to re-queue all of them or simply delete those? If re-queue, whill all will be processed or there will be chances to be in broken queue again?

Also, which environment is this?

Depending on your answer on above queries, need to find our the best solution.

Hi,

Thanks for the info.

As we want to simply delete those then should not impact the server much. But, it's prod env, and keeping in mind of instance count, we should do it in iterative manner and in off hours.

Best to have a DSS where you will define the count of instance to be deleted, and then run with minimum number, if no impact in server and not taking much time, increase the numbers.
