Cloud Instance - 404 Error
Hello,
I was working on the course 'DESIGNING DECISION STRATEGIES FOR REAL-LIFE SCENARIOS' the cloud instance stopped responding. I am now getting the following error 404 error. The URL is http://env-181841519.pegaenablement.com/. Please correct the issue.
Host Not Found
DNS error (the host name of the page you are looking for does not exist) or Server did not accept the connection.
Please check that the host name has been spelled correctly.

Hi Miki,
I am aware of the 4 hour shutdown. However, my instance when done when I was working on it.
If someone could check the log and confirm the reason that it would be great. And restart the instance as well if it is still active?
I have been trying to access the instance - it says the cloud instance is available but on opening the instance it gives me a 404 issue.
Update: I just checked and the system asked me to again request an instance. I am assuming this is because of the 4 hour wait. However, I was between my exercise and now the whole data is lost. Please could someone still check the logs to ensure that this does not happen again?

I am really sorry you experience this. Unfortunately, the instances are recycled and reused so we can not check anything in the log. Please re do the exercise, and if you experience similar issues ping me directly on [email protected] so that we can check while the instance is up and running.

Further, the cloud instance is really slow and takes several minutes when I click on any item. Can it be checked how much memory is allocated and can it be increased?

Hi,
Unfortunately, the cloud needs to 'warm up'. It is a fresh instance, only available to you. Nobody else is using it. So the very first time you access any menus, pages, rules, etc. you will experience an additional time. Once you access a strategy, for example, next time it will be nearly instant.
So it has nothing to do with the cloud memory allocation.
