Work Object Archiving in NBAM

Hi All,

I plan to run the work object archiving wizard for my Pega NBAM application v7.1.7 (NBAM 7.12) to archive the old work object data.

In your experience are there any process precautions which I need to take prior to executing the wizard? Any known issues?

Should the same approach be taken in all environments viz Dev, SIT, Pre Prod and Prod?

Hi, there should be no problem with archiving the marketing work objects, once the campaigns have been archived within the marketing portal, they are just work objects after all.

If you  are referring to the work objects for NBAA, these too can be archived, but be aware that the full history view reads the work object to get the full details of the propositions referenced in the interaction history. I

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, the full history view reads the work object to get the full details of the propositions (NBA and BN both) referenced in the interaction history and since the requirement here is to show history details for the last 1 year, we would like to archive work objects which are older than that.

Hopefully, as per your advise, there shouldn't be any issue. Cheers !
