I'm attempting to install the PVS exercise application and the quick setup guide refers to a VM Ware installation that doen't appear to exist in the zip file,
I don't see VM Ware in my Start menu, and when I simply open the Pega Decision Management Essentials 7.1.5 on DB2 Base.vmx and attempt to start the virtual machine I'm prompted to buy a VM Ware license.
What do I need to do to get VM Ware or PVS working on my machine?
Thanks. However, neither of the courses I am taking contain the VMWare installation software in the downloaded zip file, hence my confusion. Once I realized I could use a free version of VMWare I downloaded it myself and was able to start the course.
"There is a VMware Workstation Player 12 available as free for personal use and VMware Workstation Player 12 for commercial use costs $149.99 USD. The VMware Workstation Player 12 paid edition upgrade is priced at $79.99 USD."
"The free version of VMware Workstation Player cannot be redistributed for Commercial / Business environments."
Since I assume most of us use this on our office desktops and laptops I'm not sure if we are qualified under the "free version" license. It would be good if you could confirm this.
Thanks and regards,
