Upgrading FS IF and FS SCM framework
Hi,
We are upgrading PRPC 6.2 to 7.1.8. As part of that we have to upgrade frameworks FS IF and FS SCM too. Compatible versions are FS IF 7.1.5 and FS SCM 7.1.4. Though we have the framework upgrade guide available in PDN but I am looking for someone who has actually upgraded these frameworks. Can we follow the same steps as mentioned in upgrade guide and it worked? or some other steps has to be performed?

Hi,
Framework Upgrade guides are published after having implemented the steps. I am very sure someone might have implemented at Client sites as well. Hence, I would recommend you to proceed with the upgrade as detailed in the upgrade guides. And , if you face any problem do let us know. We then can troubleshoot if any.

Yes we have performed the upgrade of these frameworks one of the customer from PRPC 6.3 SP1 to Pega 7.1.8 . We have faced one issue while upgrading the FSIF framework.
Table structure for REQ_DOCLIB table is changed in Pega7 which is not allowing FSIF jar to be imported as there are alredy records existing in the table.
As a work around we have dropped this table and FSIF 7.1.5 recreated this table as part of upgrade. Customer is not using this table in PRPC 6.3 SP1.
