SI framework upgrade impact understanding

I have tried to search pdn to find upgrade impact to SI framework(similer to CS/CPM) and resolution. how much changes are involve post upgrade to OLD SI OOTB e.g

Manu

Configuration setup

re-designing OLD OOTB etc..ect

As of now there is no article availble in PDN explaining the impact of SI upgrade from PRPC 5.x/6.x to Pega 7. Probably we will try to put together a cookbook or guideline for the same and post it on PDN.
