Tickets Lesson - Alternate Approach Question
Hello,
For CSSA 7.1 Tickets Lesson Exercise : The alternate solution suggested is to add the wait shape , but it is mentioned that "The disadvantage of this approach is that for each subcase type, we would have to add a wait shape."
The questions i have is -
Do we need to add the wait shape for the child case flow(Benefits Enrollment, Payroll) or to the parent flow using split join? I think we need to add it to the parent case (Onboarding case) in the WaitCompletion flow using Split join, Please confirm.

The Wait shapes would be added to the parent case, as that's the case for which we want to pause processing.
However, given the configuration options on the properties panel for the Wait shape, you can only establish one dependency for each shape. So yes, you would need to run one flow for each subcase, and run all of the flows in parallel, which indicates the need for a split-join subprocess shape.
