Search functionality on developer portal does not work as expected
After upgrading from prpc 6.3 to Pega 7, we see that the search functionality of Rules and Data does not seem to work. We need to prefix "old:" followed by the rule name that we need to search for to get it working. Why does this happen and how do we overcome the same.

This happens when the indexes get corrupted. You will have to rebuild the index. Reindex for Rule-, Work-, Data- classes and your search should work.

Delete the content of "data" and "rule" folder under your "PegaTempDir\PegaSearchIndex" and then re-run reindexing for rule and data. It should resolve your issue.
