PRPC 7.1.7 1st node in cluster not working

After a clean installation in a JBoss EAP 6.3 2-node cluster, the 1st node in the cluster is not working but the 2nd node is working fine.

 

Environment: RHEL 6.6, JBoss EAP 6.3 two node cluster, each node has two servers (JVMs), Oracle 12c database

Hi Matt,

Double check that both nodes are configured exactly the same. Ensure they are both running the same OS version with the same updates, fixes, and patches. Also double check that both are running the same JRE version. Double check that they are both running the same version of JBoss and that you used the same versions of prweb.war, or corresponding .ear on both. Also double check that both PRPC configurations on JBOSS are identical and that they are both using the same JDBC driver version. Finally, you want to make sure that you granted PegaUser and PegaDiagnosticUser privileges on both nodes and to the same users and that you are running JBoss on both nodes with UserIDs that have the same privileges.  As a guide you will want to refer to the Installation Guide and make sure every required Application Server configuration step was completed the same on both nodes.

If after double checking everything, you still get the exception please submit a Service Request (SR). You can do so by accessing the new My Support Portal (https://collaborate.pega.com/question/how-raise-sr-my-support-portal-how-question).
