Tomcat 7 Cluster for Pega 7.1.7

We have a Pega 7.1.7 application is running on a Single Tomcat 7 instance .Is it possible to run the same Pega application in a cluster mode by adding other Tomcat 7 instance on the Same Server ? Kindly share the related document if any for implementing the same.

You shouldn't have to configure anything (assuming you did not specifically disable anything cluster related). Just configure the second Tomcat instance and start it. The nodes should attempt to cluster together.
