Property Optimization tool completed, but column not populated at all
We ran the Pega Property Optimization tool for exposing a property from BLOB to a specific column. On the Designer Studio it says the job completed successfully, but when we check on the database, there are around 90% of records that still have the exposed column with null value. Was'nt the Property Optimization tool supposed to do that too. We see only partial records updated. Please help, because now we cannot run the optimization tool again, since it says the property has already been optimized.
Any help will be appreciated.

If the property is a top-level Single Value property, no additional inputs are needed. The tool creates a new database column and starts a background process to populate values for the new column (for existing instances of this class only) from BLOB values.
So in your case the column you are looking is a property at top level or embedded level.
Also the property value should be present in all existing instances of the class.
