How can I re-expose a column? (re-optimize a property for reporting)?
This article SA ID: SA-5194 gives brief instructions on how to un-expose a column: drop the column from the table in the DB.
That's partially true. However, there is more to it. Suppose the following series of events:
- optimize a property for reporting (thereby exposing a DB column)
- undo the previous action by dropping the DB column
- then you want to re-expose the property
How can you do that? If you drop the column, then return to the property in Pega, you will not see the option to optimize the property for reporting again. Restarting does not help. There is a record in the DB for every exposed column - and I can't remember what table it's in. In the past, when I deleted that record, the property was once again available to right-click and optimize.
Can anyone point me to the table and type of record I need to remove?
Cheers,
Elliott
