Populating database columns using the service-enabled Column Populator utility

I am trying to populate old column values through service-enabled column Populator utility ,is there any Pega provided REST service which let us do this?

Where exactly prpcServiceUtils.properties file is present?

Hello,

On your distribution image you should have a "scripts" folder and inside this one an "utils" folder containing prpcServiceUtils.properties.

I don't think we have an Out-Of-The-Box REST already existing for this.

You can find the prpcServiceUtils.properties file in the installation media under /scripts/utils

I wasn't too sure what you mean by old column (did you mean new column, but you have data that precedes it)?

If you've optimize a property, then this should be recognised when you call prpcServiceUtils/prpcUtils with the expose option.

Otherwise you can also cause it to regenerate the column individually by updating the pzreindex property to "true" and saving that record.
