Not able to create an application on the Customer Service for Financial Services framework on V 7.2.2
Every time I click on the create button to create an application, the rules sets and rule set versions get created and then I get a 'Class name too long' alert. After I fix the class name length alerts, it wont let me use the same name again and pops up an error saying the rule set version already exists.
When i look for the rulesets/version, I cant find them under Records-->Sys Admin --> Rule sets. But the come up when i do a plain search with my organisation name in the search box. I cant open an instance from the search record, displays the usual 'rule has been Blocked/Withdraw/or does not exists' message.
Next, I tried changing my Organisation name very time and also fixed the class name length issue before clicking on 'Create application' button, now it says things like 'Problem creating History tables' and also some other times i got some random SQL error without proper information.
This is very frustrating !!! Please help ASAP !!!

I could solve the above error by un-checking the survey case type. Then I got the same error for 'PegaFS-Work', then I un-checked that case type as well. Now I get the same error for 'PegaCA-Work'. Can someone tell us why this is happening when we have imported all the layers of framework like CPM, CS Case management, FSIS and finally CS for FS? Please find the errors below for your reference. Attached is the screen shot of the case types being excluded during application creation.

Hello Rashmi,
Have you tried using csfssysadmin / install credentials and check if you are able to create the application.
I have a hunch that some sort of validation is causing an error. Many applications have Class values on the Cases Tab (in App Rule) and maybe it tries to use the D-A-DB-Table mapping to validate?
this would be a generic issue to all Frameworks (not just CSFS). So admin @ pega can't build on top of other apps?

Thanks for your response. I did try creating my very first CS for FS application with the CSFSSysadmin operator, but I still get errors. The error screenshots are attached with this email for your reference.
The system is looking for existing ruleset pre requisites. I tried creating the application at the framework as well as the implementation layers. (All screenshots are in the attached document).
The most frustrating issue is, every time application creation fails, we can’t reuse the same name to create again. The rule set creation would not be rolled back in case of a failed application creation and will not even allow us to override. This forces us to give a new name every time we try to debug this issue. So many unused rulesets are created and I cannot create the application with my choice of name.
Any help is greatly appreciated !!!

On reviewing the corresponding SR, we see that it has been resolved and determined as product enhancement. The enhancement request IDs are listed under the Related Support Case Number field. Please refer this number to your Account Executive should you wish to actively follow up on this request.
