Not Able to Create an application on top OOTB Customer Service
I am trying to create a new application on top of existing Pega Customer Service Application but am not getting any option to create an application built on another application[ Pega Customer Service] all the time there is a option to select [ Radio Button] either Framework or Implementation , but getting an option to select build on application.
Note: There is an option to choose application type such as Service Request / Customer Service but if i select - Customer Service >>> but it does not give to select build an application- then save - while creating an application getting into error saying "class work-cover-" does not exist as attached work-cover notexists.jpg and applicationcreation.jpg attached.

Hi, are you building it on top of 81 or lower? selecting application type is nothing but built on app..
Have you tried tracing to see where Work-Cover- class doesn't error is getting?

To advertise the application you want to build on, open the Application rule for that application.
Then check the "Show this application in the New Application wizard" checkbox in the Application WIzard tab.
Is this your issue? Hard to tell from your description. It sounds like you want to build on an existing Application but only seeing the ServiceRequest and CustomerService applications which do advertise themselves as build-on candidates.

1)My requirement is need to create my application with my own rule sets, earlier Pega version you have option to create an application built on another application [ which is OOTB Customer Service my requirement]
So I am trying using New Application -new applicationwizard.PNG , when I try am not getting an option to select built on application [if i selected framework radio or implementation radio button using Advance Configuration]
Then I decided to select customerservice application[ see customerservice.png] ,after selecting customerservice application , i put all my org /div/unit and all my classes am getting an error as shown in Work-Cover notexists.jpg

You are right, you need to select the customer service application. I am able to create the application. I got the different validation error related to UI kit. I commented the step creating the validation error. I was able to do so because the step was optional. In your case, as PEDEL suggested I would recommend you to raise SR with the support team.

It is hard to tell from your Tracer figures what Activity is being executed when the Exception is flagged.
Your FIRSTRACERERROR.png file only shows the end of an Obj-Open attempt to create a page named "Dashboard".
What Activity is executing the beginning of this step? I have tried to find this using search but was unsuccessful.
Also, what is the class of the "Dashboard" page that the calling Activity is attempting to open?
Any kind of dashboard class should extend Data- ultimately, not Work-Cover-.
I did notice multiple Pages&Classes declarations in CPMPostAECreateDashboardPrefs that can be removed.
In particular I would remove "Primary" which is set to PegaCA-UserPreferences-Dashboard which extends Work-.
Whether this fixes your problem or not, I recommend creating a support request (SR) to bring this to the attention of Pega Support. To assist Pega Support you should save your Tracer output to an XML file by clicking the "Save" icon in the upper right corner.
