New in Pega GenAI Blueprint: define Case Type Data Models based on GenAI suggestions 🔢
Now live: Define Case Type data models in Blueprint, accelerated by GenAI
In Pega, every workflow has a defined data model – which set the fields & relationships needed to drive UX, automations, integrations, reporting, and more throughout the course of that Case Type.
Now business & IT teams can define the data models needed for each of their Case Types faster than ever as part of their end-to-end workflow design in Pega GenAI™ Blueprint.

What you need to know to get going👇
Build data models on Pega GenAI suggested foundations 🧠
Right after Case Lifecycle design, you’ll see Pega GenAI generate a set of relevant fields for each of your Case Types which are combined with the out of the box data set which is baked into Pega’s case management framework. From there, fields can quickly be edited, detailed with descriptions, deleted, and added to!
Give your UX development a head start by defining Primary fields. 💻
Primary Fields are defined on every object in a Pega application.. when used, they are pulled into the UI for Cases & Data Objects, especially in Create Forms and Summary Panel. Leveraging Primary fields enables UX for forms & screens to be developed extremely quickly in a way that is componentized, reusable, and highly maintainable. Pega GenAI™ Blueprint enables business & IT to get a head start on their primary field definitions upfront in the design process.
Detail relationships between cases & data. 🪢
Create Reference field types to define a relationship & future integration between your Case Type and any of your data objects. Note: the automatic generation of these references is not yet supported in Blueprint import.
AND once your design is set, Blueprint import automatically generates case data models for you. 🚀
Where before, after Blueprint import – your likely first step in building out an application would be to create the data models…
Now, importing a Blueprint will automatically generate your Case Type data models based on your Blueprint design (available in the current versions of 23.1.2 and 24.1). And with Primary Fields & Pega Constellation – you’ll get a head start on UX configuration – enabling workflows to go from idea to something you can experience and interact with faster than ever.
