Create new casetype in branch

I'm currently try to accomplish Case Hierachy exercise. 

I've created new branch of HRServices RuleSet, and creating subcase for Onboarding case. As a RulSet i specify branch, but  i get error on trying to save new casetype.  

 

Errors:
  • ** .pyPagesAndClasses(4).pyPagesAndClassesClass: SAE-HRServices-Work-Test doesn't exist or is not a valid entry for this ruleset and its prerequisites
  •  

 

So to work in a branch with a new case i have to create it in main RuleSet and then copy it to branch?

When you created the new subcase in the Case Explorer, did your branch ruleset appear in the Advanced Settings > Derives from (Pattern) field on the create case dialog?

It's not possible to create a case type in a branch RS via the case explorer. Not sure how you're seeing the branch in the RuleSet field. Create the case type manually in the branch and then set it up as a subcase via the parent rule or case explorer
