AES Node Description not updated after upgrading Monitored System

Hi folks,

 

We have 2 AES issues we are seeing after our development version upgrade from 6.x to 7.x.

 

Issue:1 --> Node description on AES user portal still shows, old node description that was before before upgrade. Node ID was updated accordingly but descriptions still displays pre upgrade description.

 

Issue:2 --> Agents running status is being returned false from Monitored system even though agents look healthy because of which our enterprise health in AES user portal shows in RED. Other attributes like agents last finish details looks fine.

Where was node description updated? AES takes node description from descripton it receives from monitored node in the health status message. Monitored node gets it at startup from the entry in data-admin-nodes. If you change pegaes-data-nodes it will be over-written by the next health status message

Please clarify "agents running status is being returned false from Monitored system even though agents look healthy". When you look at the node status in AES, how many agents does it show are running? In AES, what was the number of agents that you are expecting to see running on the node?

Thanks for your response. 

When i see node status in AES, all of them show up with "X" under enabled column. Rest of the columns show valid data. I looked up the result xml coming from monitored system(pasted below), everything looks good except the <Running> tag. As you see it's beieng returned false.
