Pega Platform has a focus of using Data Transforms rather than Activities.  The App Studio environment should be uplifted to allow basic, non-complex data transforms to be created by the user for pre/post functionality. It would be good to have a guided data transform implementation approach which takes the user through creating one step-by-step in App Studio and does basic error checks before saving/applying the DT.

This would allow users to create basic Data Transform in App Studio without the need to go over to the Dev Studio environment.
