Create sections related to data models in the data class or meet the App Studio Compliance
Hi, in App Studio Compliance landing page, looks like clipboard page is unsupported page context for embedded section (Attached).
If that is the case, how do we define sections in data classes for reuse and reference them thru page property under pyWorkPage if we need to persist the data? I feel this may force to create duplicate sections in work class layer.
Pega Customer Service for Healthcare is still using clipboard page as a context on several occasions to reuse sections from data class. This seems valid & best practice that we used to follow and that i still feel should be advocated by Pega product.
In short, if i ask team to follow App Studio Compliance, we may end up creating duplicate sections in work classes. On the other hand, if i ask team to create sections related to data models in data class (per best practice), it may violate App Studio Compliance and i'm not sure what its future implication could be.
Seems like a catch 22. Please advise which direction should i guide my dev team on the client project.

Got a response from Product team.
There is currently a bug for this issue and targeted to be fixed in 8.6.
In other word, we should be able to reference a section from the data class using pyWorkPage.XYPClipboardPage as a page context in embedded section.

I haven't found a problem embedding Sections from Data Classes using App Studio.

I would be keen to understand what isn't working for you. Your design approach is absolutely "valid & best practice" from my point of view.

Braam, thanks for the reply. That is also working for me as well.
The issue is that when you run the App Studio Compliance tool, it shows that the design pattern (Use clipboard page) is an issue ("Embedded section with unsupported page context").
My next question - what is the future implication of this unsupported page context issue?
