Work item routed to worklists of 2 diff people belongs to different work groups. If either of the person taken action, other should not be allowed. How to do it.
There are two managers Work Manager and HR Manager. A work item is routed to worklists of both Work Manager and HR Manager ie., two assignments got created. Both Managers belongs to different work group.
Requirement is work iem is routed to both managers for either approve or reject action and if either of the managers approved or rejected then the work item should not be shown to the other manager.
What are the ways to do it and which is the best way. Please advice.

Use Split for Each shape (In case same assignment/flow needs to be started for both managers) and set Join condition as "Any" in Split for each properties panel.
If different flows/assignments for both managers, use Split Join and set Join condition as "Any".
This configuration serves the exact purpose for the requirement. Let us know if this helps or if you have any other questions.

Would it work out better to have just one assignment in one work basket that both managers can draw from ? That way, if one manager draws the item, the other manager won't be able to. /Eric
