Why the report records are being varied once after the exporting the results
I was trying to run a pended report, i was getting the result as some where around 2.7k results. But when I exported the results it was dropping down to 1.6k results in the excel.
No filters are being used. can someone help over here..

In the data access tab of the report definition, check the value of the max number of row to export and also the max elapsed time for export.

@SohamM95 Everything was fine.. max records to display 5000 rows, and export 10000 rows. Max time to export was 60 seconds which was good enough.

If you do not need it, uncheck the Report on descendant class instances checkbox and compare the counts.

From Configure tab go to Reporting - Setting ===> Edit Number of rows to export at a time .
