3．Oracle JDBC driver (assuming JDBC8.JAR)
Am I correct in understanding only the above?
Also, are there any Linux packages required to install Pega and the above middleware?

Yes, this is what you will need for the application server. If you decide to use OpenJDK11, you could use the ojdbc10.jar

It wouldn't necessarily be a mistake to use ojdbc8.jar I just want you to know which options you have, depending on which JDK you use:
JDBC Jar files specific to release:
ojdbc10.jar with JDK 11
ojdbc8.jar with JDK8, JDK11
If you use JDK8 you will have to use the oracle ojdbc8.jar
