Utilizing same Marketing platform for 2 different business divisions
In my project the requirement is that Client want to use same CDH and Marketing Outbound campaign platform (Pega NBAM installation) to be used for their 2 different divisions. those 2 business unit/Division has 2 different set of customer base. and those 2 different set of customer base maintained in 2 different database tables.
now I need help on design possibilities of using same Marketing platform to design and send different outbound campaigns to 2 different set of customer, is it really feasible? because at a same time a Segment can be linked to a single customer class.
please suggest.

Unfortunately there is currently no support for multiple customer classes in Pega Marketing. Each division needs its own Pega and Pega Marketing instance.
The only alternative that works in some situations is to have a single customer class that holds customers for the 2 divisions with an attribute that identifies customers belonging to either of the divisions and all segments/strategies would need to take that into account. If there needs to be a hard separation, then multiple Pega instances is the only way.
