Using Keyring in PrpcServiceUtils
Dear All,
We are on PRPC 7.2.1.
Need a quick background and understanding on how the keyring works. Basically, we have recently encrypted DB passwords and created a keyring file using DB URL and necessary credentials at prbootstrap.properties. The prbootstrap is now left with usernames only (no passwords).
Post keyring file creation, we tested the builds using PrpcServiceUtils command line tool, it works good however when I renamed the keyring file to verify if the build fails for DB password (given that keyring file reference is not available for DB authentication) the build still works and does not prompt for any error mesg for missing DB password.
Need to understand as where in the build process the keyring file is looked up for DB connection.
please suggest ....

I have gone through the link. It does highlight as to which ocnfig file keyring is refered. Could you please help me know if there is any cache file (need location) which gets created when keyring file is prepared. this could beone of the reason why DB password is picked even when keyring is moved.
